Hi, I’m Bernice Bruno, the proud owner of Cleaning by Bruno, a mom, a woman of faith, and someone who knows what it means to start over — more than once.

I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the United States, growing up with big dreams but not always knowing how to make them happen. Life hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced loss, heartbreak, and moments where I felt completely broken. I lost my mother to cancer in 2011 — and that pain changed me forever. It made me see how short life is and how important it is to live with purpose.

As a single mom, I’ve done everything I could to provide for my children — from working in warehouses to doing tattoos, and eventually starting my own cleaning business. There were days when I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure how I’d make it, but I always told myself, “Keep going. Your kids are watching.”

Then life hit me even harder. I lost everything. I became homeless with my kids, with no idea what was next. But even in my darkest moments, I never stopped believing that God had a plan for me. I trusted that if I kept moving forward, even with tears in my eyes, He would open the right doors — and He did.

Cleaning by Bruno was born out of that faith, strength, and determination. It’s more than just a business to me — it’s my second chance. Every home I clean reminds me that no matter how messy life gets, it can always be made new again. I take pride in helping people feel peace in their space — because a clean home isn’t just about appearance, it’s about energy, comfort, and healing.

When my clients invite me into their homes, I don’t just see a job — I see trust. I treat every home like my own and every client like family. I know what it feels like to struggle, and that’s why I give my best to everyone I serve.

But my story doesn’t end with cleaning. My mission is to inspire other moms, women, and anyone going through hard times to believe in themselves again. I want them to know that no matter where you’ve been, you can rise. You can build something beautiful from the ashes.

Today, I’m grateful — not just for my business, but for every challenge that made me stronger. My journey taught me that faith, hard work, and a clean start can change everything.
